Today, more than ever, organizations need people who are team players – at every level. We define teamwork as the ability to cooperate with others to meet objectives.

Interpersonal skills are the cornerstone of any workplace. These are the skills that allow for employees to interact and relate with co-workers in an effective way. They are sometimes called employability skills. 

If one lacks interpersonal skills, it may be difficult to work well with others. With great interpersonal skills you can inspire fellow workmates, resolve conflict, and essentially make a day at the office run smoothly.

This course covers important topics such as Emotional Control, Empathetic Outlook and Personal Relationships. You will learn or remind yourself of these concepts that will improve your interactions with others!

There are three courses that combined, constitute what you need to know to become more proficient in your Interpersonal Skills.

Course 1 – Emotional control is the ability to maintain a rational and objective demeanor when faced with stressful or emotional situations; a measure of self-composure in a difficult situation and the ability to act objectively, rather than impulsively or emotionally.

Course 2 – Empathetic Outlook is the ability to perceive and understand the feelings and attitudes of others; the ability to place oneself “in the shoes” of another and to view a situation from their perspective.

Course 3 – Personal Relationships is the motivation generated by the importance of forming personal relationships with the people with whom you work.

Goal Achievement Course 1: Realistic Personal Goal Setting

Setting realistic personal goals is a skill that anyone can learn. 

Realistic Personal Goal Setting is the ability to set goals for yourself that can be achieved using available resources and operating within a projected timeframe.

This course will teach you how to set achievable and measurable goals, which are the key components of goal setting. You’ll also learn how to use your resources effectively and within a reasonable timeframe.

Project and Goal Focus is the ability to maintain your direction in spite of obstacles in your path; the ability to stay on target, regardless of circumstances.

Your abilities in Project and Goal Focus will directly influence how you are perceived by peers, managers, and employees. This self-paced course provides you with e-learning video modules and supporting activity worksheets. Each week you will receive access to a new module.

You’ll learn how to set goals, break them down into manageable steps, identify what’s getting in the way of achieving those goals, and find ways around those barriers.
